Great write up to bring awareness around this issue for women! It's highly disturbing where we are with this and the many app developers who are more interested in data collection to sell to data brokers and advertisers. The post-roe era especially needs something more privacy focused in this area.
If it's okay to mention, due to this exact issue I created an iPhone app for this very thing. Simple and not loaded with uneeded features. Most importantly, no accounts, no data collection, no advertisements and no Apple Health sync! 100% offline.
There are other apps being built to address this specific problem, that are cross-platform as well, e.g. www.my28x.com. And then there are technical solutions being built to enable creation of safe privacy-preserving apps in general as well, e.g. bayun.dev
Not sure how 28X is planning to monetize though, as that's when things start getting ugly, and stakeholders turn evil. BTW, same risk applies to WildAI as well, specially after their acquisition by Zepp.

Also note, the decision to not create this for Android was intentional.
Thank you so much for bringing attention to this. Finally!
Thanks for the share 🤠
